The Johnston family wanted their parents close. Not a phone call away, not across town, but right on the property, where everyday connection, comfort, and peace of mind come built in.

Acton ADU delivered with a 448 square foot, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom home from our Build Ready ADU program. Build Ready plans are pre-designed and fully engineered, which meant the Johnstons moved through design, permitting, and construction on a faster, more predictable path without sacrificing the quality of a traditionally site-built home.

Thoughtfully scaled for one or two people, the layout makes 448 square feet live large: an efficient great room, a private bedroom, and a full bathroom, all designed so the Johnstons' parents can live independently with family just steps away.

Like every Acton ADU, the Johnston project was site-built to California residential standards under local permits and inspections, and designed to serve the family for decades.
